FYI on what you should do on and during Abdominal Hysterectomy surgery.

Emotional response after hysterectomy varies depending of the reason of the operations. This operation is needed for those who are diagnosing with cancer of the cervix and in the uterus. Doctors remove the uterus, including the cervix during the total Abdominal Hysterectomy. And it takes about 3-5 days to stay in the hospital primarily to check your situation if there’s any after effects after the recovery. The recovery cure time takes about 4-7 weeks. These are the things you should know on the process.

Avoid carrying heavy objects or you are restricted to lift heavy weight because it will affect the abdominal area of your body. You may be prescribed with pain killers and vitamins by your doctor so take it religiously.

It is not advisable to take dairy products to avoid certain constipation.  Dietary fiber is recommended or stool softener foods. Take lot of water, it will help in the natural treatment of the bruised scar part.  Manage your diet properly and drink 8-10 glasses daily.

Sanitary pad is required all the time. This will also avoid fungi grown and bleeding. Make sure that everything you use is clean up to your head down to our toenails to avoid infections and complications. The incision normally heals but will leave a scar on the abdomen.

There are other effects after the treatment depending also on your age and the seriousness of the case. It is advisable to follow what your physician says. Before the operation it is better to set the mind positively so everything will be all fine and fast recovery also is achieved.
