It would take a week for the patient to stay in the hospital. For severe cases, a blood transfusion is needed to control the bleeding since the patience is in shock and loss blood. Taking of fluids is needed to prevent dehydration. Doctors check also the blood count of the patient to see if there are enough white blood corpuscles to fight the virus.
