Get to know a brief idea about Laparoscopic Supracervical Hysterectomy.

A hysterectomy is the surgical removal of the uterus, usually performed by a gynecologist. It said to be the commonly performed gynecological procedure. As technology develops, one major and new way of hysterectomy is the LSH or Laparoscopic Supracervical Hysterectomy. Doctors prefer this as the less infections and painless surgery.

The procedure does not require to suture and with no stitches required, no infection for the healing process is much faster than other procedures. It might be a good procedure of patients under such conditions requiring hysterectomy. The healing process is much easier same as with ingrown toenail fungal surgery. Though the process under toe nail fungus is to get rid of the affected area, incision about 14mm only is made with laparoscopic.

Recovery time is much faster to any other hysterectomy. And not frequent to get bladder complications. LSH does not complicate other important organs especially uterus and the ovaries. Mostly under this procedure the recovery time would take about 3-5 days only.
